With all the company's out there making Dinobots, I decided that I liked the looks of this line the best. And starting with Snarl they definitely didnt disappoint. This figure is beautiful with all its gold chrome accents. A nice intricate yet easy to transform design is a pleasure. If I had to list 1 criticism it would be that I would like him to be just a little bit taller in robot mode. But at this price and the quality Ill overlook that one gripe. Liked him so much I ordered the other 4 Dinos to go with him.

I have been wanting a Dinobot combiner for years and looking at the ones coming out, I choose ToyWorlds.

The models look and feel when I pick it up big and solid, quality I want in a dinobot. The dino mode reminds me exactly of the old toys I played with for years as I saw them in my head. The joints on the legs are more articulated than I had expected which is a bonus. I was able to pose him in some great battle look. The articulated fins on the back were a bit of a surprise. I’ve found that they do pop off sometimes but seem solid enough to hold up for years.

The tail pops off a bit too easy for me, but it is supposed to because of its combiner status. But when in robot mode, it makes it a bit of a pain to pose. The robot mode in construction is sold but I’ve had some trouble posing it and keep it balanced on it’s own. Something I do love is that they have been able to make the robot form hide a number of the dino forms piece and make the transformation more organic in feel and look. The articulation I can get is much more than I excepted.

The weapons are I am not pleased with. The sword is a good updated version for Roar but the gun feels very cookie cutter. I am hoping it is more that the gun will combine with the other robots guns to form a larger one and not just a cookie cutter one they send out.

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and have already ordered the other released models and will be purchasing the set when it is all out. I hope to see the quality continue for all the models.

Dinos rule in all shapes and sizes. ToyWorld's version comes close but I feel it could have been just a tad bit better.

Most 3rd party figures I have received are 'peg' happy. Which I love. Nothing like a solid figure with pose-a-bility, firm joints, and 'pegs'. However this figure is just missing some of those need 'pegs' and lock-ons.

Feral Rex - Awesome! Ares - Awesome! Even Warlord, as G1 as it is, is great. Firm figures with firm combination modes.

Almost the same transformation as the G1 just enhanced but I fee it will also have it's issues with it parts being loose as time wears on. The shoulders on this figure rotate to a certain point but do not lock which hinders the posing of the arms. The spine fins are all jointed where some of them really didn't need to be and shouldn't have been. Who needs an articulate spine fin? Even Godzilla toys don't go that far, why would it need too?

The Dino mode looks rigid, like a cookie cutter feel and look, where as the G1 was smooth seamed and rounded in the necessary areas. I get the box look but for this to be overly boxy is saying something.

My favorite of the Dinos but I hope future designs are more refined and articulate.... yea the hip joints limit the posing; definitely missing some articulation there.

All in all a good figure, just hope the rest of the line improves.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect here. I do own other ToyWorld action from Hardbone to Orion / Hegemon.....I would say this is by far their best offering and that I do like this dinobot rendition over Fansproject rendition. For one G1 aesthetically accurate could use some reprolabel love ;) super solid....only complaint is I wish there was more of a soft ratchet system in the legs / hips these are basically step ratchets which can dictate pose stature. Weapons OK but the integrity of both Bot and Alt is awesome and there is no mistaking this is SLAG......great on its own but we all know what we want here a DINO Combiner and this being their first offering of this bunch...ummm yeah picking up the rest no doubt. 8 out of 10
