After playing the waiting game and doing the research (ie poring over reviews), I decided this was the Tbreaker/Hoist mold to go with, and I was not disappointed. Both are great, and I applaud XTB for engineering two different bot body types out of the same truck body. All I ask for now is a blue Aegis and red Paean BECAUSE DIACLOOON!!!!!

Aegis has to be one of the best "Masterpiece" style transforming robots on the market. He is solidly built and has great articulation. I would rate him as being equivalent to MP-10 Optimus Prime.

The way that his transformation scheme hides various body-cavities and kibble is what separates him from the other 3rd-party Trailbreakers.

The only criticisms I have are the following:
(1) the painted striping is poorly done.
(2) his transformation scheme can be tough at times. This mostly has to do with having to "un-tab" some of the sections from one another, and the "micro-folding" hinge-joints.

I’m waiting around because I see fans toys is doing there interpretation of a trailbreaker but here it is xtransbot has theirs. While it’s not the best it’s not the worst either the paint apps is not the best but will do. The articulation is solid, comes with plenty of accessories. This figure will do just fine as my trailbreaker
