I've heard all the horror stories about how these kits were nightmares to apply and you had to extensively modify the tabs and pegs for the add-ons but I am extremely happy it wasn't the case for my copy. All pegs fit in snugly but not too tight to where they would damage the plastic. I would cautiously still recommend this but your mileage may vary

Even with Takara's improvements on Hasbro's less than stellar attempt at retooling existing molds into a Computron, you might feel it's still not enough. That's where this kit comes in.

First and foremost, you WILL have to shave the pegs down a bit on the hands and feet, which is really what prevents this upgrade kit from rating any higher. They absolutely will not fit right out of the box, and trying to force them in will damage the figures, so be cautious.

The chest and thigh parts can integrate cleanly into Scattershot's jet mode, which helps with parts storage. While the chest cannot be stored in robot mode, the thigh parts can remain on his arms without issue. Unfortunately the feet parts take quite a bit of work to seperate and change into shields and weapons, and doing with force can lead to stress marks, so not advised.

Overall, I do recommend this upgrade set, but I wouldn't say it's a necessity for the Unite Warriors Computron set. It definitely helps differentiate him from the Superion combiner.

First off, just so you know, this set will not work 100% with CW Computron. It's designed for the Unite Warriors version.

Everything works. That's the most important part. The chest is probably the best piece out of the whole thing. I have no complaints on that.

The thigh pieces are good, but do not match the white plastic of the toy.

The hands and feet are inferior to the Perfect Effect versions, though the color is more correct.

Plastic quality is ok to poor. Some of it feels fine, other parts feel surprisingly thin. It's just not a finished product like other kits these days are.

Overall, not a bad buy for the cost, but I wouldn't go recommending it to anyone.
