I enjoyed customizing my CW Bruticus with the upgrade kit. May buy more in the near future as long as the kits stay the same quality.

This a good upgrade set for CW/UW Bruticus. An add-on piece to make the hands to hold Shockwave better would've been good to have. Also the way the chest pieces connect in center of the chest should've been alot better than three small fragile tabs. Other than those minor things, it still an excellent kit to own.

Pros:
-This will fill out and beef up your Bruiticus model.
-Was easier to install than most I've worked with recently.

Cons:
-Fingers feel thinner than they should be.
-Instructions are not the best. They are printed in black and white and low quality images.
-I had to file down some of the pieces to get them to fit easier. Parts were: pegs on chest that plug into thighs and pegs for feet.

Overall, I do like this kit. It made my Bruiticus set jump up a couple of knotches on my display shelf. Worth it if you felt the Combiner Wars figure needed some beefing up.

I hate to dissuade people from a kit who's engineering *ideas* are enticing...but the actual engineering and material choices are frankly unacceptable, especially for this price range when there are far better options.

This set is horrid. Don't get me wrong, what they were trying to do was cool. The hands and feet have their faults but are still ok. The chestplate is ok at best. The crotchplate doesn't lock in place well, and flops around.

For the onslaught waist "Upgrade", They sent me two right waist pieces, and on top of that when I tried installing and using them, they completely destroyed the figures legs.

the head is awsome. the hands and feet are dull grey plastic, like original pictures. the leg joins make bruticus stand great...but are no goof for transforming him to anything else, must pick one. the chest and growing pieces really fill out this kit...but didnt the description say combiner wars not unite warriors. something will have to be painted no matter which you have. I only like it because i was going to paint my anyhow so it works for me

It's good but has bad instructions

Disappointing. The hands and feet don't fit into the slots in the base figure. The feet are way too large to plug in and the hands are deceptively large as well. The hands broke one of the peg slots on my CW Bruticus. Gonna return this and get one of the better kits.
