2 years on and I am still impressed with this guy. It has great shelf presence and stands mightily atop any collectors tower display.

The individual figures themselves look nice on their own and are quite nicely articulated. As a pack or combined this is a good value for the price.

Perhaps the quality varies on this particular product but I have not observed any glaring issues concerning quality in mine. The usual 3rd party shenanigans like slightly ill fitting tabs or pegs on Hook, mainly. Nothing that can't be fixed fairly easily with a little help from Google.

The upgrade kit is nice and gives GT-99 a much needed lift in height. The drills spin freely and are a nice touch. The alternate head is excellent and adds that G1 aesthetic I love so much. The purple electroplating throughout is still lustrous and is not flaking.

One complaint; kinda floppy shoulders. The arms are heavy and the ratchet joint is comparatively tiny. It can takes some doing to get the arms to hold where you want them, especially when wielding his gun. A little patience and you can achieve cool dynamic poses. As mentioned above, a little know-how can tighten up those joints.

Fairly heavy in hand when combined.

Very nice details for those that like that post G1-G2 comic book style. I usually don't stray from the old school aesthetics but I had to have this one.

Would have been a 5*/5* if not the fixes, minor as they were. For as many moving parts as there are; they did pretty damned good. Would recommend.

Great sculpt and size, fits really well with FT and MP figures. I haven't had quality issues mentioned in other reviews. The only negative thing I would say is that his arms could be a little longer. LOVE the coloring and detail.

The product arrives in bad condition. Besides being of very poor quality.

I am very happy, I realized my childhood dream.
But I have to say I'm afraid to handle it.
Plastic seems so cheap that I sometimes fear breaking it.
Especially Crane / Hook.
It's so bad, especially for the price / quality ratio.
We are far from the quality of Master Pieces
