First off, I love the Seacons. Like many people, they have always been my favourite combiner team.
Seawing is particularly special to me because he was my introduction to the Seacons. I remember clearly my aunt giving him to me as a gift when I was 7 years old.
Despite being the reused and retooled mold of Cutthroat from the Terrorcons, Seawing is still a faithful representation of his G1 counterpart.
The one obvious downside is the appearance of the alt mode’s legs looking backwards, possibly used as a design choice to further the similarity from using the same mold on a different character.
Some things to look out for: (may not be the case with your particular figure, just a few QC issues with mine)
The right wing was a little loose at the rotating joint where the wing attaches to the back.
When the right leg is extended in robot mode, the part that makes up the knee does not fold and seat all the way, tightly securing the bottom half to the top half of the leg.
These are just minor problems, and don’t really affect the integrity of the figure overall.
If you’re a die hard fan of the Seacons, then I’d say these are a must buy.
