I really think the idea of life sized transformable tapes is awesome, but these figures are kinda underwhelming when you take them out. Pieces were falling off and everything was very loose. It would be cool to see these remastered and fixed.

An OK set. Not fantastic, not terrible. Feels kind of bad in some places. They're way too big to fit in with an MP collection, but they look fine on their own or with the other cassettes. Alt modes look good too.

I'll first say that the packaging for each figure is awesome..Love the retro cassette mode...as a child of the 80s, nostalgia hit as I opened the case and pulled out the quite hefty figure.
Transformation is pretty straightfoward. I like the magnetized wing sides. the paint decos are just enough, though I would have loved some more on the wing tech boards..but you get a coupon for half off Laserbeak. The colors on both are very striking, and I'd say Buzzsaw's the nicer of the two honestly..The little camera built in the heads are great nods. I've only had an issue with Laserbeak's thruster vents, one pops out very easily..nothing some glue won't solve.

Size wise...well I mean look at them, they're scaled to equal a real cassette...that means, when perched upon MP Soundwave, theyr'e pretty freakin big..maybe even a tad too big...but in scale with the other MP cassettes from MMC, they're going to look great in a collection..and they do!

The iconic cassette birds--they're perfect. Laserbeak (Volture) also comes with a toyhax coupon to get some decals which I haven't sent in yet. I was showing LB to all my friends on discord and the general consensus was that she's adorbs.

If they fall, be careful, the silver front vents fall out, but they snap right back in if you find them.

These little guys look fantastic with my masterpiece soundwave. I’m so glad I pick them up they are well worth the money. The transformations are simple enough yet offer some challenge . Thinking about them for your collection? Do it. Get that second job, sell a kidney (not necessarily yours) but do it. Get batteries for their pistons and annoy your dog. Yes, THE FREAK’N PISTIONS MOVE!! (Although I did have to email the company to find out what batts are needed because that’s not listed in the instructions.) They look amazing, you won’t be disappointed

Size is great, they fit in perfectly! Ravage, Rumble, Lazerbeak are must haves! MMC did a perfect job of with all of these!

Packaging is genious as usual in a cassette holder. Transformation is easy, mostly just fold out bits and pieces. A few small pegs will break, no matter what you do with the wings but will do fine without some of them. A bit difficult to place con symbols on the wing compared to the other tapes, but not really neccesary to do.

They are too big for MP collections, so they mostly stand for themseleves. Put them as "guardians" of your collection and they do fine.

The scale in bird mode is perfect as real life birds of prey can be large and intimidating. The cassette mode and packaging in a 1 to 1 scale cassette cover is ingenious. I would give this a 5 star if it wasn't for QC issue (one cannon on jet pack won't swivel).
