PROs: Retractable crane arm is the best-selling part for me, and that makes for lots of free space behind the legs for better posing and if you're into making dioramas. The sprayer on his hands is part of his transformation and not a separate gadget so that's always a plus. Price is also unbeatable for a 3P MP scale.

CONs: The hood that splits into two that make way for the rotation of the crane portion towards his back does not meet all the way together when in robot mode, so there's a gap that's very visible above his head. I didn't have this problem with Backdraft and I've seen other people have this same gap on YT. My copy also has lots of chipping on the chrome parts.

This guy is hefty! Solid die cast without a doubt. Transforms better than the Takara MP Inferno in my opinion. Good articulation. Comes with two heads.

If I could give it 4.5 stars I would.

Pros:
He's got a lot of weight, first thing you notice right off the bat. Hes got a great sculpt with nice attention to detail, particularly in the face. Having multiple heads was a nice touch depending if you're going for show or toy accuracy. Transformation is pretty simple, he scales well with other MPs in both modes, and for the price...can't beat it.

Cons:
The shoulders on mine were a little fiddly to line up just right so they werent angled inwards, his crane is pretty short in truck mode...not much you can really do with it, and unlike the official piece the crane doesn't hide away, just hangs off his back, but overall not too unsightly.

Its a decent quality inexpensive piece if you have room for it on your shelf (hes significantly bigger than the car bots), definitely gives you something to do while locked indoors during all this virus business.

To start off the figure is fantastic right out the box and he comes with different head options depending on how you want him to look, and with diecast parts for feet this guy is not falling over anytime soon, hand parts are even exchange able with Artifex.
Now for possability you can eazy vet him into any postion you could want.

IMO the mmc ocular max perfection ser. Is leaps and bounds more of a collectible'masterpiece' than takara hasbro....i now have 4 of these guys and they're giving me everything T/H has not since Ironhide, i love him but thd mp line took a drastic turn during designing him. Its less molding no paint apps just lazy take a look at Rachet, his ambu paint job makes him look more designed? Its not toon theyre going for its just laziness because they already have a passionate fanbase. Girder Backdtaft Roadcrane all mold brothers with great realworld details while capturing each characters essence, I'll certainly keep giving mmc and maketoys my paper, 3rd 's give us better overall quality, sans transforming there Takara still best.
