After a few months his shoulder pad snapped off and some pieces are only held on by friction.

Other than that he is very cool.

I bought this company's Ratchet and was unimpressed. Not bad, but nothing special. Then all of a sudden this little charmster comes along. I am not kidding: I was hearing chugga-chugga train sounds in my head the entire time I was getting him out of the box and transforming him.

Paint is nicely sharp; the metallic colors especially. (Would have been nice if the feet were silver.) Articulation's good. The arms aren't hindered much by the big shoulder pads. And he has an ab crunch! Neat!! Head's totally cute and I love that he's got bolts for his horns. The hammer's awesome. Love that faux-brass paint.

Changing him to train mode could be a lot more fun if the hinges were smoother and you didn't have to force the arm sections past the hips. But once you've got everything compressed, he's ADORABLE. Rolls pretty good too.

Two biggest complaints: The crossbar piece over the wheels is thin and only attached at one. If anything was going to break on this figure, this feels like it. Also, the U-shaped panel behind his head pops off rather a lot.

But the best part of the toy is this. If you spin his head around before transformation, you can open that back panel on the train and have him peeking out. SQUEEEE.
