Master Mades rendition of Scorponok is just a great figure to have, so much so that I purchased Odin, Ceaser, and Omega. The only problems I’ve encountered is that there is always a lose joint somewhere on the figure. For me it was his headmaster and one of the legs in scorpion mode. Do not let that detour your decision to purchase because I love it more then Planet Xs Grimlock. We can all agree there Grimlock was awesome! Plus he looks great with the Iron Factory Line. I also got a dysfunctional light in the chest piece, but TF Source is taking care of the problem. The reason for the four stars is because of the light. If It worked when I received the figure this would be a 10 star figure hands down. The die cast gives it a great weight and the joints let you pose this figure like no other. 110% recommend.

Transformation is okay if you understood the pictures on the instruction guide. I had to watch a video first to make sense of what the pictures were trying to convey. Directional arrow makes sense as long as you understood which part to do it on, and it's a littler harder to discern them looking at the instruction when only seeing the parts of body part, like the elbow or the knee, or side of the upper leg, and so on. This was the issue I ran into when I got to the leg part. Most of the reviews I watched only transform from scorpion to robot mode, so I had to make sense of it in reverse order. Other than that, the figure is solid. I like the two mini-scorpions. He is very bulky in scorpion mode and takes up quite a space, but not as much as the regular full size version. He still fits in one detolf shelf. In fact, I have him in one shelf with Diabolus Rex. He is bigger than DR in robot mode, and even longer in alternate mode.
Lastly, there is no better time to get this figure since Master Made is coming up with newer figures, and these older issues are becoming harder to find.

Destruction Scorpion is a great, menacing figure to add to the collection. The color scheme and detail is great (just like the G1 Scoponok). The diecast gives the bot great stability for posing. Good articulation with the fingers, joints and the two mini scorpions that transform to form the other fingers.
My only complaint are the hip joints. A little more engineering should have went into making them tighter (like Odin's hip joints).

The base figure is okay, flimsy in spots. After putting the trailer parts on, he feels more substantial in hand, but the leg armor and winged backpack do not attach as securely as other IF figure's accessories. The two extra guns, the handles are too thick to plug into the top of the trailer. IF Scorponok is much better at this price point.

I have all the Master Made characters and I really enjoy them all. First off, AWESOME character just like all its predecessors. However, Destruction Scorpion, does have some flaws. The headmaster joints are loose, the leg joints are also a bit loose and the scorpion legs attachment looked a bit off. No deal breaker but I felt that it could have been checked before shipping. Apparently, this is similar to most of the Destruction Scorpion shipments, check YouTube for more info.
