Iron Factory's Bridge Watcher pays a great homage to the Generation 1 Shockwave design. From a visual standpoint, it's the perfect small-scale Shockwave figure in both Robot and Laser Gun mode. Its compatability with Iron Factory's War Giant, their hoamge to Generation 1 Bruticus, makes it a good purchase should you have the giant as well.
However, this does not mean the figure is without its flaws. Build-wise, it's actually considerably flawed. The knee joints do not lock into the shins when in robot mode, which will usually cause him to look offbalanced due to misalligned knee heights. This also causes issues with poses that involve bent legs due to the enormous gap caused by the floating knees. The figure's waist swivel is also completely useless in robot mode due to the Laser Gun mouth folding down onto the back of the pelvis and locking it into place. While you can unlock the back to use the waist swivel, you have to lift the back part up very high to give enough clearance as the Laser Gun's sight is also folded up on the back of the waist. The shoulder armor and biceps are not seperate parts, which causes both articulation and visual problems when lifting his arms.
While I would still recommend the figure, please be aware of his issues before committing to buy, because he has plenty.

This guy just came in yesterday, and I still can't seem to put him down. Pretty good articulation on a legends size figure, transformation is a breeze and the added hands accessories are great. The only concerns are the stress marks on the ball-joints where the feet are attached at. I don't know if it was done during assembling or when I was first transforming him, overall the plastic quality is good, so I think its not going to break. Can't wait for my War Giant Sets A,B and C to come in. Oh, by the way this is my first Iron Factory 3rd Party Figure and I love it!!!

As my first Iron Factory purchase I am really pleased with this guy. I think he is really well articulated for such a small figure while still retaining that presence of Shockwave that we all know and love.

I am beyond happy with this edition of Bridge Watcher. He has nice tight movements, a lot more articulation than I'd expected from a smaller bot. Again, extremely happy especially for the price. Will definitely be buying more from Iron Factory
