I got the wind knocked out of me when I saw this figure on TFS for 229. The average price for him on Ebay is 350 so I would say this is a steal and I never thought I would have it at this price so soon.

Definitely on the complicated side for transformation but not the worst. That being said I think most collectors want this mainly for the robot mode anyway (I happen to think the DX9 cannon mode looks better). But the robot mode of course looks fantastic.

Now, I waited a long time for the re-release of the original FT-16(the purple one). I eventually had to go through ebay to get one, and the day before it arrived, fans toys put the blue(movie) version up for pre-order, which sold out in minutes. I convinced myself that I didn't care, and that it was just a slight color difference.

Then I casually browse TFSource and find this beauty in stock. I didn't even hesitate to order. I am beyond happy that I did, too. The color is stunning.
