MB-12 Athena is definitely great if you’re a Minerva fan. The plastic feels weird but I don’t have much experience with third party toys, but if you prefer the original character model you should wait for the Master-X Version to come off preorder.

As a fan of Supergod master Force, I really like this, but the legs can be problematic to get into position

I have to say this is a great representation of Minerva from Super God Masterforce. Unlike some others, I can't really find any fault in the plastic. It's as good as some other 3rd party figures and way better than others. I've converted her between modes several times now and I don't feel like anything is going to break. Most of the major tabs are thick and I've not seen a single sign of a stress mark, much less an indication that any part of her is going to break.

Speaking of transformation, it's really enjoyable and not overly complex, despite having a fair number of steps to it. I only had an issue with one ball joint popping off with her shoulder pieces the first time I put her in robot mode because I was trying to figure out what the instructions wanted me to do and I did the wrong thing, so the joint popping off was all my fault. No issues since then. Most of her joints are pin joints anyway. I don't mind the minor parts forming aspect to her transformation, probably because I grew up during G1 and every figure parts formed. Besides, her top piece forms her backpack in robot mode and all of her weapons and the top of her head neatly store in the car mode. The only thing I find somewhat challenging in converting her is putting the little Athena/Minerva into the car as there are clearance issues, but EmGo on YouTube has a neat trick he shared in his review that makes it easier. Both modes look great, very accurate to how she should look. She's got some paint applications and there is a sticker sheet you can apply for added detail. The transparent plastic they use in various parts also looks fantastic, especially the blue for the windows. I like how they're transparent inserts, rather than totally transparent parts that are painted, which can lead to problems down the road. The robot is pretty posable and looks great, and I love that she comes with an alternate smiling face, which I put on mine.

So, yeah, she's a great figure at a great price. That doesn't mean she's cheaply made, just that she's a good deal and if you like the character of Minerva from Super God Masterforce, you should get her.

Didn't have any issues with her.

Although her transformation is reversed, the hood and head lights become her shines and the tail lights become her shoulder pads. She has a nice and simple transformation that is worth the 60 dollars I paid for her

Once you get this on the Shelf.. leave it alone... its looks great.. but it uses low grade plastic. i would have paid an extra 20 or 30 bucks for good plastic and maybe a little die cast.

The design of this figure is so cool. When I saw it at TFCon California last year, I was so excited. Then I saw how big it was and wondered why it was only 70 bucks.

Then I held it. The plastic is so thin and cheap that I'm afraid to touch it again. On top of that nothing pegs into place. Ball joints pop out with ease. And the whole back assembly is partsforming.

I would have been more than happy to wait longer or pay more for better plastic. And for the DIY stickers to be paint apps. I hope they do a reissue made of stronger stuff at a higher price point. It looks great on a shelf though! Just don't touch it.

Great figure, full of character; can't wait for more from the company.

Okay, for my first Fans Hobby figure,I'm happy. Her Altmode is spot on for a Porsche 959 copy. The transformation has quite a few steps and is the only reason I give it a 4 out 5. Seems over complicated for a figure of this size. Despite that I am glad she has been my first introduction into this brand.

I love how she looks but to transform from car to bot and reverse is a pain in the pipes. The figure stands ehh somewhat good but the car form is perfect.
