Great product, but has an involved and somewhat complicated transformation. On the plus side it has large, step by step, photo instructions illustrating the transformation process.

Sculpt: Robot mode. 4 out of 5. His feet are a bit clumsy and big. He is screen accurate from most angles. The toy was a minibot, but not on screen.
Sculpt: Tank mode. 5 out of 5.
Playability: Robot mode. 4.5 out of 5. Great accessories. Good articulation.
Playability: Tank mode. 4.5 out of 5. The turret and cannon could move more.
Paint: 5 out of 5. Just the right amount.
Transformation: 3 out of 5. Shoulders are finicky. He is a floppy mess at the half way point.
Overall: 26/30

One of the best third-party Masterpiece figures out there. Scales well with all the dudes that matter (Prime, Magnus, the cars) and perversely enjoyable to transform, providing you allow the time do do so... and why wouldn't you? Highly recommended.

an edgy Warpath
Love both his forms
Transformation frustrating but worth it

This is complicated but oh so worth it. I am so impressed with how a tank that seems like it is close to the mass of MP 10 transforms into a robot the height of MP Wheeljack. Most transformers seem to compress and compact in their vehicle mode but this does the opposite. It is nice constructed, sturdy, and nicely articulated. Certainly a good addition to you MP collection.

Yes, its an amazing transformer, very complex, which I like. Arrives in tank mode and is fun to change to robot......but forget about transforming him back to a tank again....very frustrating...Love the rest of BadCubes stuff. But not this one...

Had a fun time figuring out his transformation to bot mode. But challenge accepted and accomplished. Will probably never transform him back to tank mode, lol. He looks real good in his pose as a display figure.

WarDog is an excellent interpretation of Warpath and BadCube does an excellent adaptation of his G1 aesthetics from the cartoon. The quality of the figure itself is very good. However for his price relative to other companies products which are equally as good or better they could stand to put some diecast in the figure. That or make the price point cheaper. This is a theme that runs throughout all their figures, Brawny, Backland and Sunsurge are all great figures but are expensive for what they are. MMC/OX Sphinx is cheaper, is just as big and has a lot of diecast. FansToys have figures not far from his price point that have diecast. Grenadier is cheaper, a bit smaller but has a lot of diecast and Tesla is bit more expensive, but fairly larger and has diecast.

Despite the complexity in parts of it's transformation, BadCube Wardog is a great representation of G1 Warpath. It looks great with my Masterpiece Autobots. I would like to see how they would do with other minibots like Powerglide, Cosmos, Seaspray, & Beachcomber.

I sat on the fence with Wardog for a long time, mostly because a number of reviewers were talking about how complex his transformation was. Personally, I think it's genius. He slots together so perfectly in both modes, and how his top half comes together... I have never seen anything like it. Sure it's complex, and the first time getting him into tank mode was tricky with the shoulders (as others have said), but he looks the part in both modes and I actually find the transformation really enjoyable (i like a challenge with my toys though :P)

I was on the fence due to the price as every retailer has him at $119 and due to reviews showing off his transformation as complex. It's very strange but (and this is just MY opinion) this figure LOOKS complex but it's a transformation that is pretty easy once you have your hands on him. Looking at someone transform him makes it seem difficult but once you actually move the parts it feels natural (just MY opinion). I finished him in 15 minutes before stepping out to do errands AND without looking at the instructions EXCEPT for the shoulders. That part I had to refer to the instructions because I didn't want to break anything. All it is a slide and a rotation for the shoulders. Once you do it, i'll be easy. I love this guy. I can't believe it but he is worth the price! When you get him in your hands he has a good heft to him and he's super poseable. Man...I really hope Badcube tackles Cosmos! I love Cosmos! Who doesn't like a Transforming UFO????

It's a good model. arms are a little short. Only warning to note is that the transformation is extremely complex. Of my 30 yrs of playing with robots this has been the only agonizing transformation that I found to be utterly joyless.
