At first the figure was solid and after two or three transformations I had absolutely no fear of breaking any of them, but now a month or two later two of the figures are broke, the leg bots wild rider had his front left car segment break off the most crucial part of the car mode cohesion gone and breakdown is currently falling apart, the arms are doing ok but I don't know how much longer they will last. And motor master constantly needs retightened and replaced back in he falls apart the worst way possible through tabs you can't see and have to guess your way around and crap joints that can't hold the combined mode up

This figure is great, though not without its share of issues, which I'll go over now. The first issue is the instructions. Obviously, being a re-release, you can't expect new instructions. However, the set comes in their modes ready to be combined. But, the original pieces came in vehicle modes, so that's what the instructions show you to do. They show you how to go from vehicle to robot to combined modes. I wanted to see how these guys looked in vehicle modes, so I had to pretty much figure it out myself. Fortunately, I'm pretty good at doing that. Powertrain (Motormaster) was the most difficult, as his trailer comes apart into multiple pieces to make other parts of the combiner. But, I managed to get him into his truck mode by more or less figuring it out and looking at the images in the instructions. The only other thing to note about the instructions is that they skip steps. You have to be on the lookout for that. Another issue is that the combiner has a stability issue, even with the leg fixes they did after the initial release of Powertrain. His ankles pivot forward but not back and the combiner is top heavy and likes to lean forward. But, some careful posing takes care of that. Last negative is the sheet of what appears to be stickers but are in fact water slide decals. These are to give Revolt (Drag Strip) and Over Turn (Dead End) their stripes. Why they did this instead of just painting the stripes on or including stickers is beyond me. However, water slide decals don't stick very well to chrome. I fiddled with them a bit then finally just removed them and decided those figures don't need stripes. Besides, I slapped some Decepticon stickers on my figures and they all look great.
Now for the positives. Pretty much everything else is a positive. Firstly, the individual vehicles all look great. Powertrain is my favorite, I love that he's the size of MP-10, so you know it's an accurate Masterpiece scale. However, I actually bought this combiner to go with my CHUG collection because CHUG scale combiners are too small for my taste. But, Powertrain is a big beast and he looks like the self proclaimed king of the road that he should be. All of the cars look great. The chrome finishes all look terrific, and the metallic sliver on Powertrain's trailer is absolutely perfect. I'm glad they went with that instead of chrome, because I think that would have been too much chrome. The individual robots also all look great. The transformations aren't overly complex and are enjoyable. The combiner looks absolutely stunning. All of the cars, robots and combiner look like they jumped right off of the pages of the IDW comics. Size wise, the combiner looks like a combiner should next to my CHUG collection. Namely, he's huge. Not quite as big (or expensive) as the newer ones, but still impressive. I have the Warbotron Bruticus and the Hasbro Devastator and I think they all look great together. Havoc stands about as tall as the Warbotron, with Devastator being a couple inches taller.
So, yeah, a few minor issues that can be overlooked, this is still a 5 star set for me. I'm glad I saw this in the "Now in Stock" section of the TFSource main page and ordered it.

Looks great. Got it out of the box and combined smoothly. Can't wait to fiddle more. Joints are very tight for better or worse

I love this set. Looks gorgeous in all three modes. The colors really pop in chrome. Mind you, this is not a toon accurate set of Stunitcons, but I love them. If I had the money and the space I'd buy three sets and display all three in different modes. I wish they were on the same scale as Zeta and X Transbots, but then the cost would probably be out the stratosphere.
