I don't own the KFC blaster which I may not buy because I heard horror stories about his paint chipping bad. this one is my blaster. His transformation is identical to MP soundwave as is the articulation. lots of diecast, the entire lower leg and shoulders are. plastic is MP grade in my opinion. his paint is...meh on the faces. but nothing you cant fix honestly. around modern voyager size. about same height as G1 soundwave(who was huge for a g1) so I think those two go great together in my opinion. cant wait for them to put out some cassettes, he needs steeljaw. yes he is orange lol burnt orange. not even close to red but its really easy to get used to. but if you want a nice blaster that wont cost you a butt load. snag this one you wont be disappointed. ecspecially if you like MP soundwave
