I really wanted to like this figure. I love the looks of him as he brings me back to my childhood, but sadly I can't get past the problems with the hip joints. Mine came super loose and now detaching way to easy. Apparently this issue was supposed to have been resolved with this version (MM-IV+) but it is not. I cannot get him to stand in any other pose except straight up. I'm almost afraid to even buy anything else of X-Transbots.

Despite being disappointed by X-Transbots figures in the past, I wanted to give this figure a try based on the photos and positive reviews. Unfortunately, the item in-hand did not meet the expectations set by the promo photos.

The plastic is thin. The transformation is fiddly. Parts do not line up as intended. The colors are the opposite of vibrant. Overall very floppy joints, though does pose fine once you get past that. The car mode is overly broad, does not look at all sleek like the original G1 toy.

I'll be selling mine pretty quickly, and won't be purchasing any more X-Transbots figures.

Had an issue with not getting all of the accessories listed for this figure, got immediate response and resolution like no other vendor. They fixed the issue with no hassle. Great company and an even better team of people behind the scenes.

I thought the likeness was nice it looked like it's cartoon counterpart Definitely worth the purchase, I know the previous versions of this peace was not good but they have improved upon it greatly.

The only reason I pulled the trigger on this figure is simply because nobody else makes a "Wheelie". I'm satisfied with the articulation and aesthetics, but completely disappointed with the mold, transformation, and quality of plastic. I broke one of the wheel wells during my 1st transformation...never completed a full transformation. The breakage now renders my figure "non-transforming" because it would look terrible in car mode.

For as much as I didnt want to get him because of how many bad reviews I've seen/read on the earlier versions of him, it bugged me more my season 3 shelf was missing 1 last key character. Bear in mind I did not transform him because he came in robot mode and I keep my MPs in bot mode.

The bad:
- Respect to X-Transbots for doing **4** versions of this guy to try to get him right. Hes just too small of a bot to have a lot of canvas to work with...the plastic is very thin at places, I almost snapped his thumb trying to get him to hold his slingshot.
- Straight out of the box his leg/hip joints were very loose. From a standing position if I gently press down on his head he'll do a split.
- Hes got a lot of screw holes that kind of detracts from the overall look/sculpt of the figure.
- Without a doubt **NOT*** an $80 figure. You're paying the retail late tax in exchange for all the aforementioned re-work they did with this figure.

The good:
- Its Wheelie, theres really no doubt. They pretty much nailed the toon likness, and he completes any season 3 shelf.
- Hes got quite a few accessories for such a small bot, so its nice to have options, although nothing new since the original release.
- Theres a small amount of diecast in the thighs.

As far as I know hes basically the best option out there right now. If you dont mess with him too much I think he should serve his purpose on a shelf. 3.5 stars if that was an option.

Great looking little dude, looks just like the cartoon.

No complaints on how the robot mode looks. There's no mistaking who the character is at first look, he got that part down packed (sort of). However, leg connection at the ball joint is very loose. Car mode is such a pain to put together from the hips down. Parts are hitting each other at all angles, causing gaps everywhere if you ever manage to do it. I will not recommend people to transform him into car mode. Leave it in bot mode! Also the accessory/alternate transparent wind shield should have been blue like in the cartoons.

I bought the latest version and I can say that he is officially worth the price now.The issues previous versions had are now fixed.Best take on Wheelie out.

Awesome figure! Gave it 4 stars because when I received it the pin on the right leg was put on wrong so I wasn't able to transform it into his car mode. I had to send it back to get repaired and got it sent back after a couple weeks. Transforming the leg portion is the most difficult part but aside from that it's an awesome figure.

Well the waste fell apart instantly as if it wasnt screwed in but it was stripped. the hand popped off next but after that i love the figure. 100% G1 accurate and LOVE the face and articulation it just feels REALLY fragile! So be careful i havent even attempted to transform it.

Cartoon accurate bot; nicely sculpted curved body parts that are proportional; rigid joints; transformation not elegant but still interesting and original; paint chipping on the legs with corrected parts.

First off, I got this guy at the special discount price sense i bought him on 1st release. All his joints are nice and secure and his quality of plastic feels improved. Only draw back is the paint on his legs tends to chip and could have an extra coat. Replacement parts were included which i don't see the need to use. $60 bucks is a little steap for this guy. I think $45-50 would have been a little more reasonable. If you have some extra cash or Source points to spend, pick him up. I'm pleased with my purchase.
