These figures are ones that I bought on more/less a whim and I am exceptionally pleased with both sets, though the standout favourites hands down are the triple changers. The figures, in spite of being tiny, are amazing!. the dragon/jet/robot is my favorite of the 4 figures (2 each in 2 sets) though the ape/jet/robot is also very fun. The other two are too, but they dont hold a candle to the aforementioned.
I have minor gripes, but no actual complaints (especially for the size), except maybe that the plastic feels a bit odd. it feels soft, somehow, though it is as rigid as it needs to be.
These figures feel right at home alongside the diaclone reboot figures (especially the minifigures) and are a great deal of fun!

Day: I am the exact target audience for this figure, as I don't have enough space for a Fort Max, but I've always at least wanted his head. And what a gorgeous noggin he is with those soulful blue eyes. Really clever how the shoulder pads become the...cheek vents, I guess? Robot mode is a cute dude with rather stiff joints (and on mine the pelvis swivel is pretty loose). Would have been nice if the face-hiding panel fit flush, and maybe I would have traded ankle tilts for hidden feet in head mode.
Night: The very concept of Legends-scale triple-changing headmasters is bonkers, and some of the design choices here are admirably nutso. I was impressed at how everything in the torso inverts for transformation, and the use of symmetrical compression in the legs. Robot mode was the obvious priority, looking almost perfect besides the paw-hands. Head's the best part. Dragon mode has some... interesting proportions. Gimpy arms, stunted wings and wearing a turtleneck. Jet mode is better. Nice touch having the arms lock the back end in place. Warning though: on mine, the kneecap pieces cannot fully snap on, so they're at constant risk of falling off. I might just glue them.
This scale is exactly the place to try really inventive transformation ideas that might never work in a larger scaled figure. I would never have expected either of these characters to become 3rd party toys, but I'm super happy they are!
