First I want to say that I love the aesthetic. They are like slightly updated G1 dinobots, with an alternate color scheme and I love them.
now having heard of the problems plaguing the set, I bought expecting something mostly bad but lovable. However, My set really only has a few problems. Most I can fix but one I can't.
The first real problem is the brontosaurs left kneee joint was lose, but that just required tightening a screw. the left combiner foot is lose, but some floor polish should help that. The one I cant fix is the stegosauras' neck-joint literally will not move, and I broke the head off trying to get it out. Your mileage may vary.
I just want to end this by saying you are getting a great looking and MOSTLY functional set with these guys.

When i went to transfrom them all my stegosauruses head wouldnt come out. Then when i worked with it it popped off...fortunately i got it back on and proceded to gestault mode. this figure was a good way to show a dinobot combiner without breaking the bank. I just wanted to entertain the idea I am a purist and the dinobots didnt combine. With that said some joints were too tight some way to loose. TFC would have done better making this one themselves. The instructions for combiner mode suck. And the deal with all the weapons do they join or what??

Not much articulation for the combiner mode ,what can you expect more when the price is right .Combiner mode would not stand in time .Had to adjust combiner mode in order it to be in place .Now the the whole thing lean against the wall .....unless you got to place Dino's individually on it own .

This set is chock full of wonderful, Dinobot-ish fun. The combined mode, though ... suffers some design flaws, the most glaring of which being the fact that his foot joints are insanely loose and he'll just fall over at the slightest provocation.
