BadCube does an excellent adaptation of G1 aesthetics from the cartoon. The quality of the figure itself is very good. However for the price relative to other companies products which are equally as good or better they could stand to put some diecast in the figure. That or make the price point cheaper. This is a theme that runs throughout all their figures, they are all great figures but expensive for what they are. MMC/OX Sphinx is cheaper, is just as big and has a lot of diecast. FansToys have figures not far from his price point that have diecast. Grenadier is cheaper, a bit smaller but has a lot of diecast and Tesla is bit more expensive, but fairly larger and has diecast.

Great figures! You will not find anything more accurate than Brawny (not-Brawn) and Backland (not-Outback). The quality of the plastic is great (minus some thin pieces) and the figures are sturdy. Transformation to bot mode is a blast, but it is tricky transforming to alt mode. You have to be careful to not break the thin parts of figures. Both have similar transformations and you will notice a different for both. These will look great with chug and masterpiece collections. I prefer chug, but do have a few masterpieces. The biggest negative is the price (will not affect rating), but in my opinion if you have the money to spare and like Brawn and Outback, you won't get a better version anywhere else.
