War Bison is definitely a standout among the 5 Unique Toys War Lord figures. His articulation in both modes is excellent and his design holds up very well. While he shares transformation engineering with War Rhino, he feels considerably more dynamic than his fellow leg bot.
The only real downside to the figure is the hands of robot mode. Rather than being attached to the wrist, the hands attach by the back of the hand to the over-the-hand armguard. While this does help to simulate a wrist swivel, which none of the War Lord figures have, they are not secured tightly and can very easily fall out. You COULD glue them in, but the tabs feel so small it's concerning doing so would ultimately break the tabs when force would be applied to them, such as inserting the sword.
Regardless of the hands, the figure is recommended, even if you don't plan on picking up the other War Lord figures.

pros: durable plastic; tight joints; great use of ball joints in high pressure/stress areas;great resenblance to the g1 cartoon
cons: a few extra twista parts which make it just a lil difficult to transform and the instructions do not mention them; when you first get the toy be gentile
