Fans Hobby's Red Dragon is an absolutely beastly Beast Wars Megatron, as seen in the last few episodes of Beast Wars, though with one obvious change. Megatron's dragon mode had only 1 head, and Red Dragon has 2. But, that's a change I can live with, and I think Hasbro even did that with one of the figures they did of this version of Megatron.
This figure is big and heavy. Saying he's Masterpiece height doesn't even tell the whole story, as his wingspan is very impressive. I fully extended the wings and measured, and they're nearly 22 inches wide when fully extended. Though, for maximum poseability, you probably won't have them fully extended. Still, you're talking over 20 inches. He's also HEAVY. His feet appear to contain some die cast metal, probably for balance, but he's mostly plastic. It's a very high grade plastic, so I think that's why he's so heavy. The details on this figure are absolutely gorgeous, both molded details and painted ones. He's molded in a couple different colors of red, but I think that's to keep him from looking too bland, and he's got some really nice blue, black and gold painted areas, and of course a purple face. Poseability is really nice in robot mode, he's got nice ratcheted joints in his legs and can get into a nice variety of poses. The arms are a bit weird due to how his elbows work, but some fantastic shoulder joints and the ability to move the dragon heads out of the way help a lot. The wings have multiple options as far as how you want to display them. The dragon mode is much more limited and the dragon legs don't hold him up as well as the robot mode ones do, but once you get him in a workable pose he'll stay that way. The transformation is nice and relatively easy, but the instructions are a bit lackluster. But, that's pretty typical for Transformers instructions, either official or 3rd party. I had to figure some stuff out myself, but I'm used to that. The fists do have a nice place to store in dragon mode, so the minor bit of parts forming isn't an issue for me, but I also grew up with G1.
So, all said and done, this is a fantastic representation of one of the best characters from Beast Wars. He's a must have for fans of that series.

It's nice that there's finally another BW Megatron figure that transform into a two-head dragon. It's okay that he's retooled from Doublecross and the dragon heads transform into arms instead of legs, but the retool should have been more complete. He's unfortunately a parts-former: the robot hands have to be detached (and stored somewhere else) when transforming him into dragon mode. A bit lazy...
