This is the first figure from the DX9 stunticon set and it shows. It looks great in both modes, but transformation at points require tools, and the lower legs are not solid. he has great pose-ability and stands well, but his legs are basically three panels and the doors that only peg in two places, so if you touch them they usually unpeg or collapse in on themselves...very frustrating. Otherwise, the car mode looks great, the bot mode looks great and I LOVE that he is WHITE WHITE and not off white or cream. He also comes with a peice that no one seems to know what it does, and that is very annoying. Thankfully the figures in this set go up. 4 stars ( tho had this been a later release for this line I'd give it 3 at best)

Montana is a good looking bot in both modes. But besides the other QC issues that are mentioned I can’t even put my gun in the roof in car mode and the red paint on the front is way too sloppy. I think that’s what irritates me the most. Glad I only paid $50.

Montana looks great in both car and bot mode but like many have said it does suffer from QC issues. Paint chipping and weak connections at the ankles really do make this product overall okay but if not for the issue this would be a great item overall.

A great looking and cartoon accurate figure, transformation is fun and interesting, and poseability is great and can even hold his gun with both hands.
Only problems is that his hip joint is too loose And the feet like to splay to the side, so it can be tricky to pose him.
Also, if you look at him from the wrong angle, you can see right into his hollow arms and legs, which may bother some people.
Overall, a solid figure

Let me 1st say I have almost every major G1 figure by Dx9, I love this company&sister co.UniqueToys. But, this definitely is the least of all the ones I own, as far as QCissues/tf-quality. On that he'd get only a 3 outta 5, looks&design 5, transformation 5. Yes also have the XTbots crackup5/5. I have both ver of Rodimus, Blitzwing, Astrotrain,Sixshot, Powergilde, UTOYS Springer Blurr Sandstorm all 5/5 in quality.
The issues here may not bother everyone, honestly i only wish the reveiwers had mentioned them.
1. Looseness&over tightness in joints
The Hip joints remind me a little of FP Columpio, just ball joints with super soft rachets though the extension is great.
2. Painting errors all over mine had white right on front of feet. Its really the only 2 spots that are clearly visible.
3. Over time i worry about his stability, didnt get them 4 Menasor mode, individual characters.
Id still buy him though, pretty good just expect A++ from Dx9?

This guy looks super in robot and alt mode although sometimes I cannot get the doors to sit flush and there is a gap at the top.
But this is another DX9 release that I am impressed and alittle disappointed in right out of the box.
Cause although he my look great a have a few pin joints that are pretty loose and I have quite a few spot where my white paint has chipped or already rubbed off hopefully I can touch it up.
