You know, he looks fairly cool, but on the whole, MMC has failed to impress me with this figure. The shins popped off and needed to be glued back on, one of my elbow joints was misassembled, the waist piece popped off, and finally, the waist joint snapped. So much glue needed...

Just got this guy for not only my Maniaking but my Rear End. mmc always makes great toys and i'm very very please with this guy. he is very posable, and and i love that he comes with two styles of heads based on Cyclonus' two looks. One for when you feel like IDW, and one for g1.
His neck joint tho confuses me a little bit. Its nearly impossible to really turn or pose his head with the way the peg is made. I will be comparing him to their take on Tarn, Kultur, as he is the same size.
Kultur has a much more advanced neck joint. Kultur can tilt his head side to side, forward and back, and turn. Boreas can only slightly turn his head and cant even really look up or down, perhaps only a millimiter of movement? he cant tilt his head at all. His head also sits oddly on his neck. Im not sure why he is molded this way, as its not because his head needs to be removed, as many MMC toys of similar and even smaller sizes have amazing neck joints even with removable heads, such as Cynicus. Perhaps its because of how he transformers? I would not know as i never bother to transform any of my figures unless they come in their vehicle mode (and Boreas came in his robot mode)
Either way, he is an excellent figure. Im so glad i got him for my shelf. 5 stars even with the odd neck thing.

I really love this interpretation of the character. It captures the moment when he became one of my favorite characters from the comic.
Pros: Very unique look from some of the other 3rd party versions of this character. Very intuitive articulation for posing. For instance, the way his wrists bend for holding his sword. Great balance. Joints aren't too loose or too tight.
Cons: In his vehicle mode, the grey wing plate on his arm and the wing plate on his back don't line up as perfectly as the opposite side. I feel like I can probably work it into place if I really want to. For now, not a big issue to take away from how much I like this figure.
