This upgrade is definitely worthwhile even without the hands and feet upgrade. I didn't really mind the vanilla 'viking' head on CW Menasor, until I saw the G1-inspired head on him in person. He looks 100% more Menasor-y now. I really only have two complaints:
(1) I wish they'd added something to hold Blackjack in place. I know he's not part of the G1 Stunticons, but I love the way he looks, and hate that I have to use rubber-bands to hold him to Menasor's chest securely.
(2) Honestly, my Menasor now looks a bit *too good* next to my other Combiners. The change to his posture makes him a bit taller, the shoulder vents add more to that, and since the Optimus/Motormaster mold has such broad shoulders, the upgraded Menasor looks absolutely massive next to vanilla Superion. So, I guess the problem is that the Menasor upgrade seems *so good* that you end up needing more like it to keep your collection up to par!

First off if you are looking at this review you would need to get the Perfect Effect PC-02 Purple Feet & Hands Set for Menasor. Then get this set to finish off this very interesting version of the Stunticons/Menasor with a nice new head, waist/chest piece and some extensions to the little excuse of a sword that was sent originally with Motormaster and it makes it quite the attention piece. The waist/chest part does fix the very lacking look of the original legs and makes it much more presentable for display. Now this mold is used again for the PC-08 for the Optimus Prime Figure and again works very well (As I own all the PC releases up to date) I say go out and click on them here at TFSource and fill up your basket and get em all!

The perfect effect kits are a must if you want an awesome looking combined form because stock hasbro mode just doesnt cut it.TF Source has great prices on these as well as many other things and very fast shipping

IMO, this is a mandatory upgrade for CW Menasor. It doesn't completely fix the leg stability issue, but it's significantly better with the kit than without. Aesthetically this is a 10,000-fold improvement, giving Menasor a much more... menacing... figure (especially in combination with PE's upgrade hands and feet). If you're not convinced, just compare side-by-side shots of stock CW/UW Menasor to one upgraded with this kit. Worth every penny of the purchase price.

The detail is great it makes the hasbro menasor look almost masterpiece not there yet but almost, but the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that on my the plastic felt cheep.

Combiner wars motormaster fell short for me. This kit made menasor feel complete in my mind. he stands fine without the feet upgrades, in case anyone was wondering.

This set is perfect for those who want the Combiner Wars Menasor to feel more like the G1 version. I personally like the head a lot more than the stock one. Everything fits tightly and looks awesome when displayed.

Until I knew this was coming out I had no intention of buying the Stunticons or the Optumus combiners. I literally could not look at them all done up without laughing my tail off. This product gives you a decent looking Menasor, though you lose a hair of posability in the legs. Add the purple hands from the other kit and it becomes perfect.

This kit adds height, bulk, and weaponry to this bog 'bot. The new mid-section for the sword gives it a better scale for the giant's size, and can now be stored on his back due to an extra peg.
The head is easy to pop on after removing the original Menasor head, though as it's on an open ball joint (as opposed to the standard closed one) it does tend to pop off easily.
The chest piece attaches easily enough by swapping out Menasor's crotch plate, and then forms a hefty backpack for Motormaster. It's a little tricky at first when converting it for Menasor's use, it's not a bad idea to transform it before the big guy's shoulders. It pulls together the legs neatly, but also locks them into odd positions-he'll either being standing straight or with his legs in a wide "A" stance. On the back of this decorative plate is a hole where the sword plugs in.
The whole kit isn't bad, but you won't be able to display him in the Hasbro default pose.

What can I say other than this upgrade set makes for one impressive Menasor.
