The original release of the Planet X Genesis was the very first 3rd party figure I ever fell in love with and truly wanted. The overall design feel like it was pulled straight off of the screen in terms of game accuracy, and for something so large, it's amazing that it is as poseable as it is. I imagine that is due mainly to the robust and liberal use of massive, clicky ratchet joints found darn near at every joint on the figure. When I got mine, the left shoulder was missing a piece that allowed the flank to stay connected to the body securely, but when I contacted TFS about it, they got me taken care of with a replacement part pretty immediately. If you can still find one of these, recommend it. It's so much fun to play with, but the presence it has on a shelf is worth its weight in gold.

Just want to give a heads up. Just received my Planet X Genesis reissue and it seems there are some things to clear up. First off there are clear signs to differentiate this one from the initial release.

- The brown shipper box has 2016 printed on it and listed as PX-01C
- The Genesis box no longer has a flap that allows to view the figure without opening the box. Also the box is made from a much thicker cardboard.
- Finally it is listed on many retailers as "Planet X GENESIS (No Head Tank)" but this does indeed include an extra head tank with a silver face unlike the first release. The extra head that was sold a while back had a gold face and blue accents. This reissue basically came packaged like Gammadim with the extra head tank and the LEDs are no longer in a separate box.
I had the first release and im happy to report the reissue has much tighter joints and overall feels more stable. I sold off my original release once the reissue was announced because mine had weak joints and i had to balance it to get it to stand. If you are in the market for a PX Genesis definitely go with the reissue.
