"Wow if only the G2 robot was this good."
Mech ideas has done an outstanding job of bringing out a great robot that I never I thought would come out. Get design, great quality this is a great addition to any transformer collection and I also recommend his Decepticon counterpart Piston.
"Mech Ideas Does it Again"
After purchasing Apex and Geminus, I was confident this would be a good quality figure, and was not disappointed. The plastic is thick and sturdy, and all the joints on mine were nice and tight.
Paint apps are minimal, with most parts being molded in their own colors, so it comes off rich and aesthetically solid.
He's quite posable for such a stubby little guy. I noticed if you swap his upper arms, you get better articulation at the elbows. (At first I thought mine were just assembled backwards, but they appear in this position even in the picture instructions.) After swapping them, I tried another transformation back to vehicle mode, and it all works just fine.
Mech ideas is really doing a great job so far. If they keep making Wreckers one by one, I'll buy them all.
"Great little guy! "
I hadn't tried MECH iDEAS until Gauntlet, but I'm glad I did! At first the price seemed a little high for a guy who's just a little bigger than a Generations Legend figure, but he's got a lot of personality and tons of posability. It's totally worth it.
The only reason I'm giving him 4 stars is because of the plastic. While it is sturdy quality and feels good, mine figure has a lot of little bits of flash on him, including one right on the hood in front of his face. It's not enough to make me dislike this great little figure, but it is something some collectors may get fussy about.
But hey, what's a little flash when the figure that surrounds it is a great addition to any Wreckers collection? Buy him!
"Wreck N' Rule!"
This guy is great, good paint apps, great articulation, the scale is just right, fun transformation and a superb homage to Ironfist as seen in IDW's 'Last stand of the Wreckers'
A mint box generally has no noticeable flaws. This doesn't mean it is a C10 box, but that it doesn't have any significant damage to the box. It still may have wear to the window, and a small amount of wear to the box that is noticeable upon close inspection.
A C9 box is still considered very displayable and may have a kink, ding, minor fray to an edge, etc. The box is still case fresh and unopened with factory sealed tape on both sides.
