Great addition to the collection. Originally I was disappointed he wouldn’t stand straight on his own, just recently tried again and found he is probably one of the best fancy posing figures I have now. First time I tried to remove the stand peg from his hip it broke off inside but so far hasn’t hindered me at all.

At this price, this bot is a steal. It's easily one of the most beautiful car bots, and ranks near the top in terms of fun of transformation (coming with a cool stand and a "flight mode"). I miss when MP's could be this much fun for the money. With this engineering and quality (allowing that the backpack section is a little bit "airy"), they could re-release this EXACT same robot in 2020 for $120 and people would think they were getting a deal. Skip the new releases, get this guy for your Delta Magnus and a Loudpetal to face off against and HAVE FUN!

I enjoy MP Tracks a great deal. He looks fantastic in and out of the box and makes a great addition to my collection. He poses very well, but the only thing I don't like are his legs. First of all, his legs were almost impossible to separate- I actually needed to use a butter knife to pry them apart which caused some minor chips on the inside, but whatever, plus his feet are awkwardly built. They work well, but they feel a bit loose. That's it, just be careful with his legs and feet!

MP Tracks gets a bad rap, he is a well put together Masterpiece and I enjoy his transformation, it's intuitive and I like the new engineering. The only issues I have are that the shoulder are a little loose, but that's not a deal breaker, and the side view mirrors fell out a little too easily. That was fixed easily with a little bit of super glue. I recommend this to anyone who is considering getting this figure. And now I'm considering getting the MP Loudpedal retool.

My poor girlfriend bought this for me upon my instruction for my birthday - I dare not tell her how I truly feel about the product.
Amazing colouring scheme, decent vehicle mode
BUT..
Poor robot mode from and including the waist up. The hood of his car almost 'hovers' behind the back of the robot with his 'wings' moving constantly.
It's almost as if his upper body is jelly-like.
Since it is a newer figure I really expected more from Takara.
Also one of my favourite silent characters - so I am thoroughly disappointed.
If accuracy isn't the only thing and composition matters to you, look past this figure.

Vehicle mode is great, exactly what I expected from the Masterpiece line. I'm guess I'm not as critical about the robot mode's need for such strict anthropomorphic constraints, as it is still the absolute best Tracks figure I've ever owned. The gripes about the missiles being hard to position wasn't an issue for me; there is a sweet spot for turning them up right, but the instructions don't illustrate it clearly enough.

This is an excellent representation of Tracks. I read the reviews about the gap behind the head, but from any direct perspective it isn't bothersome to me at all. I was on the fence but when I saw the BotCon sale I jumped to fill the ranks on my shelf. Glad with the purchase. Thanks for having the sale!

I love this figure. The paint is the most amazing thing about it. The metallic finish is bar-none, the best on any MP figure to date. I found the small side view mirrors to be a bit troublesome to attach, and wish his head was a little more stable, but overall this is a HUGE win, and glad to have him in my collection.

Masterpiece Tracks looks amazing in either mode. The paint is beautiful. If Transformed properly, the loose backpack issue many have complained about is resolved. While it's not as sturdy as other MP's, it looks every bit as good, and probably a bit better. I highly recommend Masterpiece Tracks.

Terrific car mode, but wtf were Takara thinking when it came to robot mode? The gaps, backpack & wing alignment could have been done way better considering they had enough time to do it. The fans deserve better than this. In my opinion, this is one off Takara's "darkest hours" since MP-05 Megatron. I hope that the future offerings don't follow in Tracks's footsteps

As stated in other reviews, the car mode is fine. Good color and nice looking. The robot mode is awful from about the waist up. I'm not one to nitpick something to death but the hollow back, the arms, the wings, the clear windshield... all could have been done better. I expect better from Takara.

The car form is pretty perfect for this figure. If they do a black diaclone version it would be hard to turn down just for the black corvette.
The robot form however is where the disappointment comes in. While it is mostly good and the head is a great sculpt, the back piece doesn't sit quite rite. There is a huge gap/hole behind his head that doesn't look quite rite. I think the most frustrating part about this is that all the promo pics for Tracks used some creative photography to hide this bit as they new collectors wouldn't like it.
Strange as it seems a hinge could have been easily added to make it lower and sit better but for some reason wasn't. Instead it looks cumbersome, which would surly irritate Track's vanity.

So I recently received this latest Masterpiece offering and I have to say that I am a bit lukewarm on him. There is nothing wrong with my figure, it is put together well and very stable. I will go through his various modes.

Accessories:

Some people will like these accessories, honestly I don't care that much about them. The mini Blaster has nice paint applications but will not be coming out of the box. Raoul is a non poseable figure with no face that will never see the light of day. The weapon looks nice and clean and provides a good visual. The Flight mode laser looks good (though I am unsure why it is hollow), but was used once for a photo and has gone back in the box. The same can be said for the flight stand.

Alt Mode:

This is a BEAUTIFUL Stingray. The paint really sparkles in even minimum amounts of light. There is a high level of detail that makes me feel like there was a lot of love put into this mode. The opening hood and engine block are wonderful touches that did not need to be added but really make this shine. I also LOVE having weapons storage in alt mode, even if it does look like there is a laser pistol sitting on the dash.

Flying Alt Mode:

The flying car mode looks great and is a very nice visual touch to both the G1 cartoon and toy. Don't get me wrong, it looks goofy, but it has always looked goofy, I like having the option, but I am not going to be displaying this mode in my case.

Robot mode:

Pros:
Beautiful head sculpt, nice proportions.

Cons:
This is where things fall apart for me. If I am looking at the robot mode from straight ahead it looks fine, but from almost every other angle it looks gappy, rather slapped together, and a bit misshapen.
Specifically, the backpack doesn't seem to sit quite right. Everyone has mentioned the gap here, but aside from that, it just doesn't feel quite right to me. The missiles are extremely fiddly and I can't seem to position them correctly and get them to stay, The wings definitely get in the way of the shoulders and limit the articulation much more than i thought they would.

Secondly the feet, the joints are tight, and the ankle tilt is there, but to me they look like they are floating away from the legs. I just think an ankle should be directly above the foot and connect to to the bottom of the shin. Not off to the side. I know there are other figures that do this too (Soundwave) but it is really obvious here.

All in all the figure will look nice in my display but I doubt there will be much else for him to do. I am still glad I picked him up, but as this is, personally, a secondary character for me. I could have left him just as easily.

Verte good figure, good shape

The photos of this figure looked extremely promising. However, now having the figure in my collection, there are gaps throughout the figure. Large space in the rear behind the head. Personally, the missiles are way to small in comparison to the original G1 style. Being unsatified was robot mode the figure was salvageable by displaying him in vehicle flying mode w/ display stand. He honestly is upsetting to masterpiece line
