Each figure stands about 6.7" (17CM) tall. Figures change/combine into a camera. Will include a mini non-transforming camera the robots can hold, as well as 3 different faces per bot (9 in total).
Looks great in bot mode!!! Tolerance issues all over... Arms are hard to extend out. Side hip skirts are all TOO TIGHT on first testing ( haven't even transformed them) already showing stress marks!!! I'm too afraid to transform them after discovering this! Not happy.
"Reflector at last!"
Outstanding, solid figures, Fanstoys have delivered once again.
Captures the look of the G1 cartoon Reflector perfectly.
My goodness what a outstanding figure! Fanstoys doesnt disappoint ever. Completely solid, very little difficulty transforming. Awesome alternate faces, plus sweet weapon accessories....the ankle knives are incredible. I would love to a add-on or upgrade kit that has a tripod to perhaps prop the camera mode on and even transform into some possible weapon. I have absolutely no issues with this figure. I strongly suggest picking one up.
"Worth the Wait!"
I am so glad I decided to wait it out for the FT version. You pretty much can't go wrong with anything FansToys makes. These are solid, and beautiful figures that perfectly capture the look of the G1 characters. Some of the joints are a bit tight, but I don't mind that since all figures get looser over time. I'd rather they're a bit too tight for a few months than floppy after a few. The only complaint I have is the bits on the moving clip inside the parts that make their backpacks. Still haven't figured out how to transform them without popping those off, but they're not too hard to pop back on. Other than that, perfection!
Love this toy. Solidly made with only a few minor caveats.
1) flash stays on camera but not a solid connection. If you bump it it wil tip forwards but will hang on if you turn upside down, just don't shake it.
2) one piece that forms backpack of side pieces needs a tool to slide a bar for transforming. Not sure this was the right choice?
Great rendition for G1 cartoon accurate fan!!!
Watch out for the hips- they can be tricky. I transformed this into a camera and set it on my desk at work in all it's 1980's glory. It was a big hit!
This one is a mixed bag of elation and let down. The individual figures are amazing. They are heavy in the hand and look completely cartoon accurate. They are a bit tight in some places, and after their first transformation become overly loose in others.
Where the disappointment comes in is with the alt-mode accessories. I love the leg sheaths for the knives, and the handguns, which have no storage are decent. The lense guns look wonky, and there is one left over part, that by all rights should tab onto viewfinder's backpack, but instead attaches to nothing.
Would I suggest buying this figure(s)? Definitely. It is still awesome; it just could have been so much more so.
A mint box generally has no noticeable flaws. This doesn't mean it is a C10 box, but that it doesn't have any significant damage to the box. It still may have wear to the window, and a small amount of wear to the box that is noticeable upon close inspection.
A C9 box is still considered very displayable and may have a kink, ding, minor fray to an edge, etc. The box is still case fresh and unopened with factory sealed tape on both sides.
